Veterans Day on the Hill April 9

Veterans, their supporters, and the general public are invited to rally at the Capitol on April 9 to meet our state lawmakers and discuss veteran-related topics. No membership in any organization is required. All supporters are welcome. The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Minnesota will provide coffee and a free lunch at the St. Paul Armory. Doors will open at 10 a.m. The Veteran March at 1 p.m. is a short walk from the Armory to the State Veterans Service Building, then to the State Capitol with a rally in the rotunda. Topics include passing a clean veterans omnibus bill, increasing the amount of the property tax value exclusion, and more. For more information, go to DAV of Minnesota website at davmn.org/events.
