Thank you to those who took time out of their busy schedules to donate to the Red Cross Blood Drive in Watkins Dec. 11. Fifty-
eight units were collected, which can help up to 174 patients.
A special “thank you” to community members who readied the Social Hall and returned the furniture to its designated areas, to those who served in the canteen and the lunch for the workers, to those who registered the donors, and any others who helped in any way.
Thank you to the Lions who paid for the canteen food, and to the Social Concerns for the Red Cross workers’ lunch. Thanks to St. Anthony Parish for allowing the use of the Social Hall.
Promoting this event was so important. Thank you to the Tri-County News, EVW Voice, marquee, churches, local businesses, and radio stations for advertisements of the event.
