At their Feb. 13 regular meeting, the Watkins city council approved the roster of 18 members of the Watkins Ambulance Service.
The council approved 2025 pool season, wages (with a slight raise for 2025), and lesson -schedule.
The council approved updating the city’s zoning map, and the purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro software. They granted a liquor license for the Watkins Lions April 5 at Village Hall.
The council approved closing the American Rescue Plan Fund and Housing Rehab Fund. These are funds available to home- and business-owners in Watkins city limits, with money available to rehab homes and business properties in the city.
The next regular meeting of the Watkins city council will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 13. Meetings are always open to the public.
