Weather for first week of November

·

Weather: A weak upper level disturbance brought some light rain to parts of central and east central Minnesota late Sunday night into early Monday morning. Some fog was also found across parts of northern Minnesota Monday morning.

The cloud cover on Monday kept temperatures up overnight as overnight low temperatures fell only into the 30s and 40s.

Parts of Minnesota experienced overnight low temperatures Monday in the mid 40s. This is near the expected average daytime high temperatures for this time of the year.

Those above average temperatures will continue into the midweek as the 50s and 60s will be common through Wednesday. A few lower 70s are even possible across southern Minnesota.

Don?Äôt get too accustomed to the mild air, however, as a cold front will arrive Wednesday night into Thursday and will drive those temperatures back to near seasonal levels.

We could see some light rain with the passage of the frontal boundary system along with a wintery mix across parts of northern and even western Minnesota for Thursday.

Enjoy your first week of November!
