The date is from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Resource Training & Solutions 137 23rd St. S.,

Much attention has been given to the topic of anxiety. It almost may seem ?Äúnormal?Äù for children to be anxious. Are more people living in a very anxious state?

?Ä¢ Differentiate between normal worry and problematic worry.

?Ä¢ Teach children strategies to reduce worried thoughts, feelings and behaviors including relaxation techniques and to prevent the avoidance trap (e.g. school refusal, bedtime refusal).

?Ä¢ Use parenting behaviors that buffer children from anxiety and to avoid parenting strategies that promote fear.

Cost:

The cost to attend the event is $15. When more than one person is registered, a ?Äúbring a friend?Äù discount will be applied to this registration which reduces each registration by $2.50.
