Zipoy receives appreciation award from Wright County EDP
Tim Zipoy, workforce development coordinator at Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc., (CMJTS) recently received an Appreciation Award from the Wright County Economic Development Partnership (WCEDP) for his outstanding service as 2016 board chair.
?ÄúTim Zipoy is the consummate public servant,?Äù said Duane Northagen, WCEDP executive director. ?ÄúHe is always looking for ways to help whether it is at his job with CMJTS or as chair of the WCEDP. I truly appreciate his toolbox of knowledge and contacts. Tim is always willing to come early to help set up a meeting space or offer to assist with any project the WCEDP gets involved with around the county.?Äù
In addition to board chair, Zipoy also served on the Management Committee and Awards Committee. ?ÄúI have had the fortune of serving seven terms with the WCEDP Board of Directors and have been witness to continued growth and prosperity throughout the County. The Partnership has had a positive and meaningful role in the fabric of Wright County and I look forward to further service with this great group,?Äù said Zipoy.
Zipoy has been at CMJTS for 23 years. He is located at the Monticello WorkForce Center and provides business services in Wright and Sherburne counties. Since 1984, CMJTS, a nonprofit employment and training agency, has provided leadership in building a skilled workforce. Through career counseling, job training, and strong business relationships, CMJTS helps entry-level to experienced workers ?Äì youth to senior citizens ?Äì train for and gain meaningful employment.
