Ken and Bonnie Zutz of Kimball are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Christy, to Troy Newman, son of Ray and JoAnn Newman of Concordia, Kan. Christy is a 1998 graduate of Kimball Area High School, a 2001 graduate of North Dakota State University. She received her Master of Science degree in agribusiness and applied economics at North Dakota State University Graduate School in 2002. She is employed as a cattle buyer in south central Nebraska by Swift and Co. of Greeley, Colo. Troy is a 1991 graduate of Pike Valley High School in Scandia, Kan., a 1995 graduate of Fort Hays State University in Fort Hays, Kan., and received his Master of Science degree in agricultural economics at Kansas State University Graduate School in 1998. He is employed as a grain merchandiser by Agri Co-op of Holdrege, Neb. A Sept. 18, 2004 wedding is planned in Elwood, Neb.
