Eighth-grade Cubs lose one, win one
Last Tuesday, Feb. 3, the Kimball eighth-grade boys basketball team traveled to Paynesville and experienced a 54-28 loss. Then Thursday, Feb. 5, they played a home game against Eden Valley-Watkins and came away with a 54-46 victory.

Junior Cubs basketball program
The Junior Cubs (Kimball Elementary basketball program) has been hard at work every Saturday since Jan. 10. They have been working with Kimball coaches on developing solid basketball skills including ball handling, dribbling, passing, pivoting, and shooting. Rebeckah Holtz athlete of the week
KAHS Rebeckah Holtz was named female athlete of the week for the week of Jan. 12-16, 2015. Junior forward Rebeckah Holtz scored 28 points, had 16 rebounds, and played excellent defense with 6 steals in two games for the Cubs during the week.

Team 2006-2007 Team Tournament Champions Jan. 31
Saturday, Jan 31, the 14th annual Kimball Basketball Alumni Tournament took place at the Kimball Area High School. The 2006-2007 team earned the championship trophy by defeating the 1998-2001 team by a final score of 48-33 in the championship game.
