The correct way to replace divots

When you?Äôre faced with a divot in the fairway, the best action to take is placing the damaged piece of grass that you knocked out with your club, and setting it back into the divot. By doing this, it will keep the course looking good, and that grass will grow back together.

When damaging occurs on the greens, it is commonly called a ball mark. You will need to use a ball mark tool, or just a tee will work fine. Place it at a 45-degree angle and lift the grass on the green back in place.

Remember, while golfing is entertaining, relaxing, and challenging, put proper respect for the course as equally important.

Thank you again, golf course team members, for what you do every day. And I forgot to mention Keith, for his effort on the course also.

Practice to be consistent (chipping & putting). No one is going to hit every shot perfect. That is why you need to work to get a swing that is going to repeat itself.
