MAINE PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP OFFERING DUST CONTROL

The Maine Prairie Township Board is offering dust control for 2026. The Township and property owners will share the cost equally up to 500’. Payment to the Township is due before dust control is applied. Letters and an application will be sent to residents who had dust control in 2025. Completed application forms and payment to the Township must be received by May 8, 2026.

If you are a new resident and want to request dust control, you can find the dust guard application form under Public Notices on the website. Web address is maineprairietownship.com or call the Town Clerk at 320-398-2905 to request an application.

Kingston Township
Dust Control

Kingston Township is offering dust control to Kingston township residents. The township will pay ½ the cost for the first 300’ and if resident wants additional dust control, they will pay full cost. If a township resident is interested in dust control, please call the township clerk at 320-398-8400 and leave a message with your phone number to be reached for cost of dust control. Flags must be placed accurately by length in the ditch and visible. There is a strict deadline of May 25 to be included with the township. All money must be in to township clerk by May 25, 2026, to have dust control applied. Send to Kingston Township 35359 – 732 Ave.  Kimball, MN 55353.

NOTICE OF MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE

Date: April 10, 2026

YOU ARE NOTIFIED THAT:

1. Default has occurred in the conditions of the Mortgage dated May 24, 2004, executed by James J. Boos and Joanna M. Boos fka Joanna M. Grindle, husband and wife, as Mortgagors, to Liberty Bank Minnesota, successor in interest to Liberty Savings Bank, fsb, as Mortgagee, and filed for record June 24, 2004, as Document No. 1116857, in the Office of the County Recorder of Stearns County, Minnesota; modified pursuant to a Modification of Mortgage dated May 1, 2022, and filed for record July 28, 2022, as Document No. A1637660, in the Office of the County Recorder of Stearns County, Minnesota. The land described in the Mortgage is not registered land.

2. The Mortgage has not been assigned.

3. The original principal amount secured by the Mortgage was $148,800.00.

4. No action or proceeding at law is now pending to recover the debt secured by the Mortgage, or any part thereof.

5. The holder of the Mortgage has complied with all conditions precedent to acceleration of the debt secured by the Mortgage and foreclosure of the Mortgage, and all notice and other requirements of applicable statutes.

6. At the date of this Notice the amount due on the Mortgage, and taxes, if any, paid by the holder of the Mortgage is $97,888.40.

7. Pursuant to the power of sale in the Mortgage, the Mortgage will be foreclosed, and the land located in Stearns County, Minnesota, described as follows:

Will be sold by the County Sheriff of Stearns County, Minnesota, at public auction on June 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department, located at 807 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, Minnesota.

8. To the best of Mortgagee’s information, the property being foreclosed has a property address of 18503 Dairywood Road, Kimball, Minnesota 55353, and has tax parcel identification number 20.11508.0000.

9. The time allowed by law for redemption by Mortgagors or Mortgagors’ personal representatives or assigns is twelve (12) months after the date of sale.

10. The property must be vacated by 11:59 p.m. on June 4, 2027, provided the Mortgagors have not reinstated the Mortgage under Minnesota Statutes, Section 580.30 or redeemed the property under Minnesota Statutes, Section 580.23. If the foregoing date is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, then the date to vacate is the next business day at 11:59 p.m.

11. THE TIME ALLOWED BY LAW FOR REDEMPTION BY THE MORTGAGORS, THE MORTGAGORS’ PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES OR ASSIGNS, MAY BE REDUCED TO FIVE WEEKS IF A JUDICIAL ORDER IS ENTERED UNDER MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTION 582.032, DETERMINING, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THAT THE MORTGAGED PREMISES ARE IMPROVED WITH A RESIDENTIAL DWELLING OF LESS THAN FIVE UNITS, ARE NOT PROPERTY USED IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION, AND ARE ABANDONED.
