Raptor Center coming to Eden Valley Area Library

·

The Eden Valley Area Library has designated August as a time to observe Minnesota birds. Birding is a great way to have children get outside and explore the space around them, so they can connect with nature. Save the date and time of 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, for when the MN Raptor Center will bring a bald eagle to the Valley. This will take place at Friederichs Park and is not only for children but is open for anyone to attend, and it’s free. The Raptor Center has requested that the public not bring dogs or other animals.

Bring your children to the library during August to pick up a color sheet of Minnesota birds, check out a bird identification book, and register to win a pair of binoculars. The library is open from 2-5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
