New KES student loading zones help to ensure safety

·

A parent drop-off and pick-up zone has been created at Kimball Elementary School to ensure safer conditions for children coming to and going from school. To the right is a map of the new student-loading set-up. The Church of St Anne’s has agreed to let the school use the driveway east of the school parking lot. This driveway will allow staff and parents to enter the school grounds from the back, reducing the amount of traffic in the bus-loading area. Students will meet their rides from the safety of a sidewalk along the side of the school. Parents will exit the lot by driving straight ahead to Hazel Avenue. Crossing guards will be present during the morning drop-off to direct traffic when incoming buses arrive. KES asks for your assistance in ensuring safety by not walking between the buses and following these rules.
