About ‘Brigadoon’
Written by Alan Jay Lerner, with music by Frederick Loewe, it is one of the most delightful fantasies that the American musical stage has known, fresh and innovative in its characterizations, dialogue and lyrics; utterly enchanting in its melodies. A Scottish fantasy about a town that disappears into the Highland mist and returns for only one day every 100 years. A tribute to simplicity, true love and goodness, which is hidden from the ordinary traveler.
