Bernard ‘Ben’ Oswskey, 75

Bernard “Ben” Joseph Oswskey died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at his Annandale home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 75.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, at Kimball Christian Church in Kimball. Visitation will take place from 9 to 10 a.m., with a celebration of life at 10 a.m. A military interment will take place at a later date.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Mildred (Paulson) Oswskey, grandson Ryan Leither, sisters Lorraine Janowicz, Josie Lee, brothers Palmer and Theodore.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Lilia; their four children Darrin, Darlene “Dee” (and Jamie) Leither (and their children Jacob, Mackenzie, and Allison), Kristine Schnichels, and Kalvin (and children Dakota, Taylor, Tyler, and Brandon), sisters Pauline Flones and Irene Schmitz, brother James (and Joanne), brother-in-law Lloyd Schulz, sisters-in-law Elaine Christensen, Jane (and Duane) Kaasa, and Marjean (and James) Frank, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
