10th annual Dinner Theatre production ‘My Old Friends’

The Great Northern Theater Company (GNTC) in Cold Spring is performing ‘My Old Friends’ being performed at The Great Blue Heron on Hwy. 23 in Cold Spring Friday-Sunday, Feb. 10-12 and 17-19 with an added special Valentine’s Day performance on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

This show promises to be hilarious and fun. It’s a story about a hotel for the non-disabled elderly filled with a mixed bag of guests including a wise guy, an ogling emcee, a lady who lives to complain in letters to high authorities, and a man from Chile who conducts the mamba.

See events shake them up in ‘My Old Friends’ on the Great Blue Heron stage Friday-Sunday, Feb 10-12 and 17-19 and Tuesday, Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day). The performances on Friday and Saturday nights and Valentine’s Day begin at 6 p.m. with a Social Hour, Dinner is at 7 p.m., and the curtain opens at 8 p.m. with a dessert being served during intermission. Dinner for the Friday and Saturday shows as well as the 14th include a choice between Pork Tenderloin, Chicken Saltimbocca, or Vegetarian Alfredo. The Pork Tenderloin is delicious roasted tenderloin glazed with a sweet maple sauce. The Chicken Saltimbocca is a chicken breast stuffed with ham and garlic-cheese sauce. There is a vegetarian dish available which is angel hair pasta tossed with peas and broccolis in a creamy Alfredo sauce. The cost for the dinner shows is $35.

The Sunday shows begin with a social hour at 1 p.m., and the introduction of Wine and Cheese being served at 2 p.m. and the Curtain opens at 3 p.m. This option is $25.
