Kimball hosted ACGC last Monday, May 16, in their second meeting of the year. The Cubs jumped out to an early lead scoring four runs in the first inning. The Falcons plated a run in the third before Kimball answered with five more in their half of the third. The Cubs went on to close out a 10-3 victory.
Braylen Silbernick started on the hill for the Cubs. Silbernick pitched four strong innings. He gave up one earned run and did not allow a hit. Braylen walked two and struck out seven picking up the win. Andray Stang was solid in relief pitching three innings. He gave up two earned runs on two hits while walking one. Stang notched six strikeouts in getting the save.
Cub hitters had their best game of the year pounding out eleven hits while scoring 10 runs. Tate Winter led the hitting attack with three hits. Andray Stang and Braylen Silbernick added two hits apiece. Silbernick also had three stolen bases. Noah Merten and Devin Gruba each had two rbi.
