The Eden Valley-Watkins?Äô girls met up with an excellent Kimball squad last Tuesday, May 9, and lost, 13-6. A home-run hitting contest broke out and the Lady Eagles lost that battle, 3-2. Kimball?Äôs Harren, Spaulding, and Utecht were the power sources for the Cubs, and EV-W got round-trippers from junior Leah Hemmesch, who pounded a two-run blast and senior Brianna Stang, who provided a solo shot.
