Vendors and public invited to Community Health Fair & Healthcare Job Fair
The 14th Annual Ridgewater College Community Health Fair and Healthcare Job Fair is set for Tuesday, April 5, in the Hutchinson Campus Commons. Planners welcome even more new vendors, services, agencies and community members to participate in this free event.
“Healthy Bodies Make Healthy Minds” is the theme for the three-hour event, according to Naomi Youngren, Ridgewater College health fair coordinator. The event is targeted at community members, students and staff who are interested in health and healthcare careers.
Health fair exhibitors, typically totaling about 30-35, offer hands-on explorations, interactive learning, or samples. The Healthcare Job Fair offers a chance for area healthcare providers to connect with current and soon-to-graduate healthcare students, as well as community members looking for employment in the healthcare field.
