Holy Cross Church holds annual parish festival

The weather couldn’t have been better for the annual parish festival at Holy Cross Church in Pearl Lake (Marty). Starting with a Polka mass, Sunday, July 9, the day was full of activities for all ages. Stan’s Country Dutchmen provided a musical backdrop for the food and games. Hundreds came out to enjoy the grilled pork chops, beer, Bingo, pull tabs, kids’ games, and just catching up with old friends. Proceeds from the festival will go toward the expansion of Holy Cross School which last year celebrated its 100th anniversary. Holy Cross School provides pre-K-8 education.
