Inez Vincent of Annandale, formerly of Kimball, died on Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 88 years old. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 28, at the Kimball United Methodist Church with Rev. Heather E. Klason officiating. Burial followed in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends visited from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church. There was also a prayer service held at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Memorials are preferred to the Kimball United Methodist Church. Inez Louise Vincent was born on Jan. 7, 1915, to Edward and Molly (Nelson) Johnson of Kingston. She married John W. Vincent on May 1, 1937, in Kingston; he preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1990. Inez was a homemaker and the bookkeeper for Vincent Construction. She lived in Kimball from 1947-2000, and lived at the Centennial Villa Assisted Living in Annandale for the past three years. She was a member of the Kimball United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Kimball American Legion Post #261 Auxiliary. Inez was preceded in death by her husband; brothers Emil and Albert; and sister Florence Hannula. She is survived by her two children Mary (and Sherill) Fischer of Waite Park, and Robert (and Carol) Vincent of Lawrenceville, Ga; sisters Alice Boreen of Oak Harbor, Wash.; Clara Johnson of Dassel; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Pallbearers were Greg and Jamie Vincent, and Scott, Joe, Todd and Preston Fischer. Music was provided by Jamie Miller and Esther Marks.
