Hundreds showed up Saturday afternoon, July 16, to wish Ernie Junker well in his retirement. June 30 was his retirement date after more than 30 years as Police Chief in Eden Valley.
Earlier in the day, Junker had been awarded the Melvin Jones award by the Eden Valley Lions. He recently returned from a fishing trip to Alaska where he proposed to fiancée Melissa Ruhland.
The next chapter of his life holds limitless possibilities, and we join everyone in wishing Ernie the best.
