Kevin Davis of Kimball died on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was 43 years old.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Kingston with Warren Lindberg officiating. Interment will follow at the Swan Lake Lutheran Cemetery in rural Dassel.
Kevin James Davis was born on Sept. 15, 1959, in Wilmington, Del., to Carl and Ann (Blomquist) Davis. He was baptized and confirmed in the Old Apostolic Lutheran faith, and was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Kingston. Kevin grew up and graduated from high school in Elkton, Md., and later graduated from the Cecil Vocational and Technical Center in Portland, Ore. Kevin married April Foley on July 5, 1980, in Bush Prairie, Wash. Together they made their home in Washington state; they moved to Minnesota in 1986. Kevin was a member of Local Union 10 as an air conditioning/ heating specialist in Minneapolis for more than 20 years.
Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife April of Kimball; children Gary James Davis of Dassel, Glenn Allen (and Briana) Davis of Dassel, Marty Ray Davis of Kimball, Darrell Lee Davis of Kimball, Jolene Rose (and Kevin) McDonald of Litchfield; grandchildren Lindsey Rose Davis and Kaley Jane McDonald; parents Carl and Ann Davis of L’Anse, Mich.; brother Charlie Davis of Spring Lake Park; sister Victoria Ann (and Tim) Foley of Elkton, Md.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Casket bearers will be Gary, Charlie, Marty, Carl, Glen and Darrell Davis. Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home of Dassel.
