Kimball Golf Club News

When the golf ball is above your feet take an extra club and choke up on it. Play for a little draw. When the golf ball is below your feet bend your knees slightly more and play for a fade. These shots: don?Äôt swing hard, relax and let the club do the work.

Outstanding Golf

Mixed League Scramble the team of Nick Christiansen, Craig and Keith Hennemann shot a score of 30 (6 under par).

The Minesota PGA Junior Golf Tour competed on Thursday,
July 28. Forty-six Juniors were in the event.

?Ä¢ Boys 13-15 years old Blake Schuler, Waconia, Minn., and Braeden Sladek, St. Cloud, shot a 1 under par 71, Henry Roth, Madison, Minn., shot a 76, 4 over par. Our own local junior golfer Adam Sandquist (15) shot an 85, and Luke Ashbrook (10) shot a 94.

?Ä¢ Girls 13-15 Abby Hamman, Slayton, Minn., and Maren Mesojedec, Sturgeon Lake, Minn., shot an 89.

?Ä¢ Girls 16-18 Alayna Eldred, Osakis, Minn., 72 (even par), Anna Faerber, St. Cloud, 83, and Jacqueline Gossen, Brooten 88.
