Kimball Kruisers 4-H club report

·

The October meeting of the Kimball Kruisers took place at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12. The group met at Fairhaven Farm where they enjoyed the corn maze, petting the animals, and eating apples from the orchard. The group next went to the Tschida residence where the meeting took place. The meeting was called to order by vice-president Brian Wills. New officers and new members were introduced. Awards were distributed. The decision was made to send Donna Deutsch and Gail Schiefelbein to a workshop to learn about projects. The Kruisers fed the homeless in St. Cloud Oct. 13, and meal preparation was discussed at the meeting. Also discussed was the Santa Store in Litchfield and Santa Day in Kimball. The Kruisers will sell craft items at both places. The proceeds will go to help needy people. The meeting concluded with project talks from Shantel and Tritton Tschida. Great snacks and juice were provided by the Tschida family.
