Jerome and Trudy Kuechle of Watkins would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Kari to Stephen Christians, son of Lowell and Barb Christians of Herman. Kuechle is a 1995 graduate of Kimball Area High School and a 2000 graduate of St. Cloud State University. She is employed by Rice County Social Services in Faribault as a social worker. Christians is a 1988 graduate of Herman-Norcross Community School and a 2002 graduate of St. Cloud State University. He is employed by Bethlehem Academy in Faribault as a physical education/health teacher and he coaches three sports. An Aug. 7, 2004, wedding is planned in Kimball.
