THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KIMBALL, MINNESOTA HEREBY ORDAINS THAT THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS OF CITY ORDINANCE 215 BE AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE

Plan Review Feedback 65% of permit fee

State Surcharge The greater of .0005 x valuation or $1.00

Investigation Fees

Work which was started without a permit shall be subject to an investigation fee equal to the permit fee, less the surcharge

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE

This Ordinance Amendment is hereby adopted this 5th day of January, 2026, and shall be effective upon publication.

Application for the renewal of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) has been received from Paul and Carol Dammann to continue to mine gravel during daytime hours only. The zoning classification is Agriculture in accordance with Section 7.1.G of the Fairhaven Township Land Use and Zoning Board Ordinance #4, adopted on Sept 6, 2011. The Parcel #09.05719.0020 is in Fairhaven Township. This CUP is for (2) years.

A public hearing regarding this CUP will be held at 6:45 pm on Monday February 2, 2026 at the Fairhaven town hall on County Rd 44. You may submit testimony by appearing at the hearing in person or by submitting written testimony by the hearing to William Pramann, Fairhaven Township Zoning Chairman, 3742 170th St, South Haven, MN 55382.

Attendance at the hearing regarding the CUP is not limited to only those person receiving this letter. If you know of any interested property owner, please share this notice of the special hearing.
