Chair E. Helgeson opened the meeting at 6:00 with members Gallagher, Mancini, Lindberg, and Libbesmeier in attendance. Member K. Helgeson in attendance remotely. The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all.
Motion by Lindberg, seconded by Mancini to approve the agenda as presented or amended. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote.
Motion by Lindberg, seconded by Libbesmeier to approve Senior Class early out request. Motion passed 6-0 via roll call vote.
Motion by Gallagher, seconded by Mancini to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote.
Consent Agenda included:
• Approve minutes from the February 9, 2026 Regular meeting
• Approval of Bills
• Treasurer’s Report
• Accept resignation received from Emily Krohn, Cubs Club and Preschool para, effective February 26th, 2026.
• Approve reinvestment of $240,000 CD for 365 days, at 4.00%, at Solera National Bank of Lakewood, CO maturing March 3rd, 2027
• Approve hiring of Benjamin Clapp, Elementary Para, effective February 23rd, 2026
• Approve early dismissal for senior class, effective May 18th through May 21st.

Mr. Timmerman reported on the following:
• Kindergarten registration night was February 23rd. Great turnout with 56 registered kindergarteners for the 26-27 school year so far.
• Bounce Houses for Cubs Pride Celebration
• Final LTRS Training is on March 27th.
• April is MCA Month: Grades 3-5
• Locker Demolition at KES: Looking for volunteers for the week of May 26-29 to help remove lockers.

Motion by Libbesmeier, seconded by K. Helgeson to adopt resolution relating to the termination and nonrenewal of the teaching contract of Isabella Kallas. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote.
Motion by Mancini, seconded by Lindberg to adopt resolution relating to the termination and nonrenewal of the teaching contract of Anthony LaValle. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote.
Motion by Lindberg, seconded by Mancini to move to close session for the purpose of discussing allegations against an individual subject to its authority during which the board will discuss the allegations and possible next steps. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote. Time: 6:37 pm.
Motion by Libbesmeier, seconded by Gallagher to open closed session. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote. Time: 6:40 pm.
Motion by Gallagher, seconded by Lindberg to close closed session. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote. Time: 7:12 pm.
Motion by Gallagher, seconded by Mancini to reopen regular board meeting. Motion carried 6-0 via roll call vote. Time: 7:12 pm.
Motion by Gallagher, seconded by Libbesmeier to adopt resolution non-renewing a coaching contract. Motion carried 5-0 via roll call vote with member K. Helgeson abstaining.
Next meeting dates: Benton Stearns Education District Board Meeting: 3/18 at 3:30.
School Board Meeting: 4/20 at 6:00 pm.

Kingston Township
Dust Control
Kingston Township is offering dust control to Kingston township residents. The township will pay ½ the cost for the first 300’ and if resident wants additional dust control, they will pay full cost. If a township resident is interested in dust control, please call the township clerk at 320-398-8400 and leave a message with your phone number to be reached for cost of dust control. Flags must be placed accurately by length in the ditch and visible. There is a strict deadline of May 25 to be included with the township. All money must be in to township clerk by May 25, 2026, to have dust control applied. Send to Kingston Township 35359 – 732 Ave. Kimball, MN 55353.

NOTICE OF MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE
Date: April 10, 2026
YOU ARE NOTIFIED THAT:
1. Default has occurred in the conditions of the Mortgage dated May 24, 2004, executed by James J. Boos and Joanna M. Boos fka Joanna M. Grindle, husband and wife, as Mortgagors, to Liberty Bank Minnesota, successor in interest to Liberty Savings Bank, fsb, as Mortgagee, and filed for record June 24, 2004, as Document No. 1116857, in the Office of the County Recorder of Stearns County, Minnesota; modified pursuant to a Modification of Mortgage dated May 1, 2022, and filed for record July 28, 2022, as Document No. A1637660, in the Office of the County Recorder of Stearns County, Minnesota. The land described in the Mortgage is not registered land.
2. The Mortgage has not been assigned.
3. The original principal amount secured by the Mortgage was $148,800.00.
4. No action or proceeding at law is now pending to recover the debt secured by the Mortgage, or any part thereof.
5. The holder of the Mortgage has complied with all conditions precedent to acceleration of the debt secured by the Mortgage and foreclosure of the Mortgage, and all notice and other requirements of applicable statutes.
6. At the date of this Notice the amount due on the Mortgage, and taxes, if any, paid by the holder of the Mortgage is $97,888.40.
7. Pursuant to the power of sale in the Mortgage, the Mortgage will be foreclosed, and the land located in Stearns County, Minnesota, described as follows:

9. The time allowed by law for redemption by Mortgagors or Mortgagors’ personal representatives or assigns is twelve (12) months after the date of sale.
10. The property must be vacated by 11:59 p.m. on June 4, 2027, provided the Mortgagors have not reinstated the Mortgage under Minnesota Statutes, Section 580.30 or redeemed the property under Minnesota Statutes, Section 580.23. If the foregoing date is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, then the date to vacate is the next business day at 11:59 p.m.
11.
