Eden Valley-Watkins schools will be participating in Farm to School month with some special activities. On Tuesday, Oct. 13, Beth Voss, from Voss Farms, will be leading a unit on pumpkins with the second graders. They will have different activities revolving around pumpkins and then get a pumpkin snack. On Thursday, Oct. 22, Darla Geislinger, RD will be making spaghetti squash with meat sauce at the high school. Both the pumpkins and squash have been locally grown.
