Girl Scout Troop 388 has started the Trex Recycling program, the same as the Kimball Lions did this past summer. We are working on collecting 500 pounds of plastic before June 15, 2022.
Our collection areas are A.M. Maus & Son, Kimball Post Office, and Kimball Public Library.
Acceptable plastic includes: grocery bags, bread bags, case overwrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, ice bags, wood pellet bags, ziplock and other resealable bags, produce bags, bubble wrap, salt bags, and cereal bags. All materials must be clean, dry, and free of food residue.
