At about 11:20 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022, the Stearns County Emergency Communication Cen-ter received a call about a single-vehicle rollover in which the driver had been ejected. It was reported that the rollover had occurred on County Road 10 and 390th Street in Krain Township.
Stearns County Sheriff’s Deputies located a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire resting on its passenger side, about 50 yards into a field. The driver of the Pontiac, Caleb Albritton, 19 of Avon, had been traveling northbound on County Road 10 when his vehicle left the roadway, hit a road approach, and became airborne before landing and rolling onto its passenger side. Albritton had been ejected from the vehicle but was able to flag down a passerby. He was treated by Albany Rescue and Melrose Area Ambulance before being transported by Life Link to the St. Cloud Hospital. Albany Fire also responded. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
