Steven Huff died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at his Annandale home. He was 65.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, followed by funeral services at 4 p.m. at the Corinna Township Hall at 9801 Ireland Avenue NW, Annandale.
Steven Lee Huff was born Sept. 18, 1950, in Mason City Iowa to Dean and Helen (Moorehead) Huff. He grew up in Iowa and graduated from Rockwell High School in 1969. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War. Jan. 17, 1971, he married Kristine Ward in Hanford, Iowa. They spent 30
Ertl Funeral Homeyears together until Kristine died in 2001. Steve farmed and sold real estate as well as managed various fertilizer and chemical application companies. Steve and Roxanne were married in 2003 and lived near Annandale. He retired from Helena Chemical in Royalton in 2015. Steve enjoyed fishing and reading. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Minnesota Twins fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Dean Huff; and wife Kristine Huff.
He is survived by his wife Roxanne Huff of Annandale; children Ben (and Heidi) Huff of Chicago, Trevis (and karen) Huff of Iowa City, Nikki (and Adam) Thedens of Granada, Michael (and Andrea) Gelhar of Prior Lake, William Gelhar (and Brittney Barr) of Coon Rapids, Erin Gelhar (and Kelly Tschida) of Spring Lake Park; grandchildren Payton, Grace, Mateo, Hilo, Lorelei, and Vivianne; his mother Helen Huff of Iowa City; brother Scot (and Cheryl) Huff of Colorado Springs; siusters Deanna Hammond (and Steve Ayres) of Farmington, and Dixie (and Phil) Ecklund of Iowa City.
