The class of 2007 at Holy Cross School in Pearl Lake graduated. 

A Dassel teen was arrested for possession of a weapon. A woman had called 9-1-1 and said, ?ÄúMy son has a gun,?Äù and then the call was terminated. He claimed his name was Aaron and threatened to kill himself.

20 years ago

Rob Haag II, a member of the K-EVW track team, went to State competition (in 1997) for high jump.

30 years ago

The first baseball game was played in the updated Kimball ballfield: Kimball vs. Eden Valley. An old-timers game was played before the official game, for anyone who had once played with the Express. 

Concordia Lutheran Church celebrated its centennial June 14. 

John ?ÄúJack?Äù and Bernice Kuechle celebrated their 50th anniversary June 13.

40 years ago

Kathy Hunt won the State track meet for Kimball. Kimball swimming classes were set to start
July 11 at Lake Carnelian beach.
