State Representative Dean Urdahl (R., Acton Township) was endorsed for re-election Tuesday night, April 7, by the Republican Party of District 18A. Urdahl, currently in his ninth term, was first elected in 2002.
Urdahl is past chair of the Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee and is the current Republican lead on the committee. While in office, he has successfully authored bills to fund our state’s infrastructure, create Greenleaf State Recreation Area, enhance school security, promote the dairy industry, and restore our State Capitol building.
“It has been an honor and a privilege to represent the people of 18A,” said Urdahl, a Litchfield native. “I will strive to continue to put their interests first.”
District 18A consists of all of Meeker County, Cokato, and Cokato Township in Wright County, and Acoma, Lynn, and Hutchinson Townships in McLeod County as well as the City of Hutchinson west of Highway 15.
