The Valley Victors 4-H club Is always excited for their January food meeting. This year, the club decided to have an appetizer theme. They chose pudding, shrimp, meatballs, and other delicious treats. It was a big hit, and they had a blast.
To start the meeting, Ashley Gruenes taught us how to make mini pies in a muffin tin. Arnie and Andy Gruenes told us about preparing and training a cow for the fair.
The business meeting was quick, but they got several things covered. The Share-the-Fun Skit members stood up and talked about the skit they will do. Share-the-Fun is where each club gets together, comes up with a skit, and performs it at the Family Services Building in Litchfield.
Also, 4-H fruit orders will be coming in soon, and the 4-Hers will be fundraising for trips to the State Fair.
The Valley Victors are already excited for their next January food meeting.
