Mark Andrew North of Kimball died on Monday, March 10, 2003, at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield. He was 9 years old. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 14, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Kingston with David Hendrickson and Reuben Hendrickson officiating. Interment will be held at the Swan Lake Cemetery in rural Dassel. Mark Andrew North was born on Oct. 11, 1993, to Richard and Doreen (Foley) North at the Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith in October 1993. Mark had a special gift; he brought great joy to both family and friends. He could always put a smile on your face and joy in your heart. He was truly a godsent to everyone. Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Richard Foley, and paternal grandparents Jacob and Bernice North. He is survived by his parents Richard and Doreen North of Kimball; his brothers and sisters Jessica, Cinthia, Jacob, Wayne, Ross, Tyrell, Orrin, Jubal and Aaron North; and his maternal grandmother Mary Foley of Spearfish, S.D. Casket bearers will be Jacob, Wayne, Ross and Tyrell North, Richie Heflin and Vance Heidegger. Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel.
