Randy Schreifels, Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer, wants voters to know that absentee balloting began Friday, June 24, 2022 for the Aug. 9 Primary, with a new location for 2022! Absentee voting is open for 46 days prior to the Primary Election.

Residents of Stearns County may vote in-person at two locations.
• NEW: St. Cloud City Hall, 1201 7th St. S., St. Cloud. Hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday, Aug. 6, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Stearns County Service Center, Election Office, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park. Hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday, Aug. 6, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Note that the Stearns County Administration Center at 705 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, is no longer a voting location.
Vote absentee by mail
Apply for an absentee ballot online at mnvotes.org or contact the Auditor-Treasurer’s office and an application will be mailed or faxed.
• Ballot will be mailed with instructions on how to complete the process and return it to the Stearns County Election Office.
• Voters will have the option to track their ballot online at mnvotes.org.
