An Army National Guard helicopter landed at Holy Cross School at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, as part of the D.A.R.E. program. Students watched the helicopter land near the baseball field and listened to the soldiers talk about the helicopter, their equipment, missions and an anti-drug message. The students more closely inspected the helicopter after the talk. Holy Cross fifth- and sixth-grade students are pictured with the helicopter.
