KES musicians perform ?ÄòSing America Sing?Äô

Friday, May 2, The KES students and Mrs. Arlene Sands entertained the public in the Kimball Elementary gym with special tributes to Kimball veterans.

Piano preludes were performed by Evan Rowland, Bethany Voigt, Brookelyn Kuechle, Elleisia Hallerman, Alison Waldorf, Taijah Capes, Lily Voight, Braxton Edmonson, Ellie Kuechle, Rebecca Binsfeld, Izaak Theis, and Zya Lueders. Cole Lindberg played a violin solo.

All grades together sang ?ÄúSing America Sing?Äù and the ?ÄúStar Spangled Banner?Äù.

Grade three had Ellie Kuechle singing ?ÄúTomorrow?Äù, followed by ?ÄúI?Äôd Like to Teach the World to Sing,?Äù ?ÄúYou?Äôre a Grand Old Flag,?Äù and ?ÄúIt?Äôs a Small World.?Äù

The Kindergarten children sang four songs that were especially touching for the veterans in attendance. They were ?ÄúMoms and Dads are Special,?Äù ?ÄúThere?Äôs a Little Wheel Turning in My Heart,?Äù ?ÄúYankee Doodle,?Äù and ?ÄúYou Gotta Sing.?Äù

First grade followed with three numbers. ?ÄúOld McDonald Had a Band,?Äù ?ÄúDown by the Bay,?Äù (Soloists were Jonny Serbus, Maddy Groinus, Daisie Pramann, and Dylan Streit), and ?ÄúThis Little Light of Mine.?Äù

Second grade students followed with ?ÄúTime to Sing,?Äù ?ÄúLone Star Trail,?Äù ?ÄúRocky Mountain,?Äù and ?ÄúA Song That?Äôs Just for You.?Äù

The fourth grade sang ?ÄúSoldier, Soldier,?Äù ?ÄúAmerica,?Äù and ?ÄúAmerica the Free.?Äù

Fifth grade sang four pieces, ?ÄúThe Rose,?Äù with Riley Spoden soloist, ?ÄúPlay a Simple Melody,?Äù ?ÄúI Believe I Can Fly,?Äù and ?ÄúFifty Nifty United States.?Äù


The sixth grade sang ?ÄúWhat a Wonderful World,?Äù and led the audience in singing five wonderful patriotic songs to stir the hearts of the veterans.
