Bedrock opens in South Haven

·

As of Friday, April 15, Lynae and James Theisen are the proud owners of Bedrock Bar & Grill on the main street of South Haven. The Theisens (no relation to the Theisens of Pearl Lake) bought the bar from Lavon Maurer, formerly LaLa?Äôs Bar & Grill.

James has 25 years in the bar and restaurant business. The couple has owned Flintstones in Clearwater for 10 years; they live in Albertville. Lynae will split her time between the two restaurants; James has a ?Äúday job?Äù and you?Äôll probably find him at Bedrock Sunday afternoons between 1-5.

James is a former Marine and is involved in the Clearwater Legion and the Lions. He likes community involvement, and helps a number of charities. (Any charity interested in meat raffles, for instance, can contact the Annandale Lions to schedule one).

Bedrock and its owners are already involved in South Haven Days, and they?Äôve scheduled the Wagonwheelers band for July 31.

Rest assured that the same wonderful staff will be serving up the same great menu. Only the ownership and the sign on the wall have changed. (There may be a glitch in the phone number, but they?Äôre working on it. If you can?Äôt reach Bedrock at 236-5151, then try 236-2010 until they get it straightened out.)
