Cowboys and livestock are on the way to the Hamel Rodeo and Bull Ridin’ Bonanza for its July 10-13 run. David Bailey has loaded his trucks in Tahlequah, Okla. with big, mean bulls such as #10, Super Cool, who was voted the best of the 100 bulls at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas last December. Bailey is known throughout the United States and Canada as one of the top livestock providers in rodeo. His keen eye for outstanding bulls is well known in the business. The Hamel Rodeo offers bronco riding, roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing for the ladies and spine tingling bull riding. Hamel is the annual elite Minnesota stop for professional rodeo contestants. The action is fast, furious, exciting and dangerous. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. July 10-13. A special Family Day show takes place at 1 p.m. on Saturday with all the normal rodeo events as well as two special events for the kids.
