“Maple Lake started out in a zone defense, and it took us a little while to adjust. We did a great job of being patient, but just struggled shooting (5/18 to start). At the nine-minute mark, we led 14-10. In the next 90 seconds, we went on a 10-0 run, to lead by 14. We went on another run, and closed the half leading 44-19.
“In the second half, we were able to get everyone some minutes and had nine of our 12 players score in the game. It was a good way to break a six-game losing streak,” explained Coach Jay Klein.
