The March meeting of the Dassel Lamplighters was held on March 2 at the Dassel Covenant Church.
Club member Ariel Schimmel recently attended the county 4-H Food Revue and Presentation Workshop. She gave a brief overview of the event, and reported that it was a good learning experience. In other old business, last month’s meeting/Powder Ridge tubing event was well attended and a lot of fun!
Current club business included a discussion about community service ideas for spring. We have also designated a sub-committee to work on our club banner for the fair. We will connect with Dassel Fire members to see about holding our next meeting at the Fire Hall, with an educational presentation. Afterwards, we plan to do spring cleaning at a nearby park.
We concluded our meeting with a lively game of bingo, led by Quinn and Reese Smieja.
