Deanna Langer of Kimball died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, surrounded by family. She was 68. 
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Saturday, April 27, at the Church of St. Anthony in Watkins. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12 noon at Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins.
Anna was born Aug. 17, 1955, in St. Cloud to Victor and Betty (Loch) Neu. She grew up one of eight children in Watkins, and she graduated from Eden Valley-Watkins High School. On Oct. 12, 1975, she married her best friend John Langer at the Church of St. Anthony in Watkins. They welcomed two children, Brad and Michele.
Anna worked at Animal Fair and then Manhattan Toy in Eden Valley until her retirement. She went to night school at St. Cloud Business School earning her degree in accounting in 1989. Anna enjoyed fishing (you could find her on a local pier on many Saturday mornings), camping, reading, quilting, and playing games and cards.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, brother Bobby, mother- and father-in-law Gilbert and Hiltrude Langer, sister-in-law Lorraine Stelton, and brothers-in-law Merlin Langer, Gary (and Diane) Langer, and Don (and Rose) Langer.
She is survived by her children Brad (and Kim) Langer of Eagan, and Shel (and Nate) Sogge of Eden Valley; grandchildren Matt and Hunter Sogge, Tim Semlak, Nick and Abbey Semlak; siblings Shirley (and John) Johnson, Larry (and Lori) Neu, Lloyd Neu, Jim (and Dori Hamilton) Neu, Bill Neu, Patty (and Jim) Stelten; and brother-in-law Merlin Stelton.
