On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the Kimball American Legion, Unit 261, recognized Patricia Dirschel, an Auxiliary member of the Kimball Unit, with a Blue Star Banner. Renee Berscheid, membership chairman, presented the Blue Star Banner at their unit meeting. The Blue Star Banner is presented to a family who has a family member serving in the military. Patricia’s son Edgar A. Lopez is serving in the U.S. Army.
