Dino?Äôs Eden Lakeside Club on Eden Lake was invaded by 240 exhuberant alumni of Eden Valley High School for their once-every-three-year reunion.
The reunion committee had been working hard to refine their invitation lists. More than 500 names had to be tracked down: where are they living now or, sometimes, are they still living?
The alumnni packed the place and nearly overwhelmed it. It was hard to hear over the din of all that catching-up conversation.
Representing the oldest group attending the July 29 Eden Valley High School reunion are graduates from the classes of 1944-1949. In back are Don Nohner ?Äô47, and Roy Kalkbrenner ?Äô44; in front are Maryann (Nohner) Willner ?Äô49, Laura May Ackerman ?Äô49, and George Kummet ?Äô46. The reunion happens every three years.
Marguerite from Images by Marguerite came out to take group photos. Not everyone got in on the photos, and a few people were in more than one group. But that?Äôs just fine. There are photos of more groups in our photo gallery at www.tricountynews.mn. Or, if you were in a photo and can?Äôt get it that way, let us know and we?Äôll see what we can do to get you one.
Thank you to the Reunion Team for all their hard work getting 240 people together for a fun night. Thank you to Marguerite for the beautiful photos. And thank you to Dino?Äôs for dinner and a lovely evening.
Emily and George Kummet originated the Eden Valley High School (classes before consolidation) reunion, and spent years putting together lists of all the E.V. grads.
