EV-W/K sends numerous athletes to track/field State competition
St. John?Äôs University in Collegeville was the site of the Section 5A Championships last Wednesday, May 31. The EV-W/K girls finished 7th out of 27 teams and the boys finished 3rd out of 25 teams. Individuals advancing to state (EV-W/K): Anna Donnay: 1600, 3200; Holly Loch: long jump; Hannah Ehlinger: high jump; Hayden Gagnon: high jump, 4×400 (set new school record in 400m); Greg Lux: 110 hurdles, triple jump; Matt Notch: 400m, 4×400; Zach Garding: 4×400; Jevonte Victor: 4×400. Hannah Ehlinger is the high jump Section Champ. She will represent EV-W/K at the State meet this week at Hamline University.
