Evelyn Stone?Äôs family thanks

·

THANK YOU ALL for your willingness to ?ÄúBELIEVE!?Äù for EVIE!

Little Evelyn Alazne Stone?Äôs family sends thank you upon thank you for the prayers, love, and financial support generously given to assist with medical expenses relating to little Evie?Äôs care. This past December of 2013 she was diagnosed with Primary/Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (IPAH) specifically, or PH in general.

It is difficult to come up with words that are just right to express our great appreciation and gratitude for your acts of kindness, caring, and generosity. We are humbled. A special Thank You to Laura Meyer and Alissa (Kuseske) Keil (benefit organizers), and Kimball Elementary teachers: Ms. Mary Bernardy, Mrs. Theresa Niemi, Mrs. Melissa Herrington, Mrs. Patti Bauerly, and all the fifth- and sixth-grade students for allowing the benefit/donation table to happen at their KES Fish Fry.

We appreciate our very dear ?Äúfamily?Äù/friends, Alissa and Laura, so thoughtful and generous with their time, to make the benefit happen. Infinite Thank YOUs to our marvelous community so generous in attending that very cold, blustery evening, showing support for our fine Kimball Students and/or to give to Evelyn?Äôs benefit. Also, a huge thank you to all who have sent prayers, well wishes, support and cards received by mail, phone, or at the bank. Your thoughtfulness and generosity are so very greatly appreciated.

Primary/Idiopathic PAH is not curable. (Idiopathic means no known cause.) Currently, Evie is stable and responding well to medication and around-the-clock oxygen at home with a concentrator, so transplant plans are not necessary this month. Because of the high, incorrect pressure the pulmonary arteries put on the heart as the two try to work effectively together to oxygenate the body, the heart was dangerously enlarged throughout her first year of life. PH is very tricky to diagnose and we are so thankful it was figured out as soon as it was. Our prayer is that Evie will stay stable for many more weeks, months and even years such that she can ?Äúgrow into?Äù her enlarged heart and, one day, only need a lung transplant, provided miraculous healing doesn?Äôt do the job first. Thank you, most of all, for the blessing of your healing PRAYERS!

Thank you so very, very much.  Believe! with us that there can be miraculous healing for Evie!

Humbled,

Parents Matt Stone &
