The 18th Annual Forest City Threshers Show & Flea Market will be held Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 19-20, 5 miles north of Litchfield on Hwy. 24 (follow the signs), across the road from the Forest City Stockade. The show will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. until the fireworks display, and Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Events include: a parade at 1 p.m. each day, an antique tractor pull, live music, saw mill, gas engines, silo filling, steam engines, blacksmith shop, potato digging, antique tractors, corn shredding, threshing, horse and corn cutting.
