Kimball Girl Scouts held their Investiture/Rededication Ceremony Monday, Nov. 10. The Investiture Ceremony welcomed new members into the Girl Scouts. The new members recited the Girl Scout Promise for the first time, and were allowed to wear the Girl Scout membership pin. These girls were also made aware of their important commitment to the values and ideals of the Girl Scout movement. The girls participating in the Rededication Ceremony renewed their promise and reviewed what the Girl Scout Law meant to them. A special event at this year’s ceremony was when Emily Janisch was awarded her 10-year membership pin by her leader LaNor Janisch. The Kimball Girl Scouts currently have 38 registered girls in five different troops. Submitted by
