Good chances of snow, accumulating snow, and a wintry mix

We are well into March, and it looks like this month is going to be one that is characterized as being an active month weather-wise. We started the month snowy, and that trend continued Sunday night into Monday. Accumulating snow was found around the state, and it made for a slick commute Monday morning across parts of the region.

We will see this active month continuing as a warm front is expected to push into Minnesota Wednesday. This could bring a wintry mix with some light snow possible as well.

A stronger system could bring some snow Thursday into Friday. The track of this system is still to be determined, so stay alert to changing weather conditions.

By the way, we will spring ahead at 2 a.m. this coming Sunday, March 12, as Daylight Saving Time begins. Make sure you set those clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.
